Automate health checks to ensure your services are running as expected.

Monitors

1. Adding a Monitor​

  1. Navigate to Monitors.
  2. Click Add Monitor.
  3. Choose a monitor type: HTTP, Ping, or TCP.
  4. Enter the URL or IP Address to monitor.
  5. Configure the Check Interval (e.g., every 5 minutes).
  6. Set the Timeout and Retry thresholds.

2. Updating Monitor Settings​

To adjust a monitor after it has been created:

  1. Click Settings on the specific monitor.
  2. Update the URL, interval, or threshold.
  3. Save changes. The monitor will begin using the new settings on the next check.

3. Changing Alert Rules​

Define who gets notified when a monitor fails.

  1. Go to the Alerts tab within a monitor.
  2. Add or remove notification groups (e.g., "Engineering Team").
  3. Choose the failure threshold (e.g., "Alert after 2 consecutive failures").

4. Deleting a Monitor​

  1. Select the monitor from the list.
  2. Click Delete Monitor.
  3. Data history for this monitor will be permanently removed.
